The following children need the sponsorship:

Name: Salma Akhtar Lima

Gender: Female

Birth Date: January 1, 2001

Aspiration: I have been encouraged by my parents and teachers to be a physician to serve the poor men. Physicians have been too self-centered. They always run after money and worldly pleasures. Human service doesn’t appeal to their hearts and those who suffer the worst are the poor men. Few days back, I went to the Sadar Hospital of Magura to visit a physician by buying a ticket. There were about sixty patients waiting in a row. But suddenly the physician went out for a call without serving us.

Obstacles: But it is impossible to go to any destination without the money that I need. I think great souls like you can make me hopeful for my career in life. My pleasure and devotion always go towards study. But I am not capable of finding money for this purpose. So, come forward please to save a poor soul like me.

Name: Hassanur Rahman

Gender: Male

Birth Date: July 5, 1999

Aspiration: My final aim in life is to be a physician. There are many physicians in Bangladesh. But I don't like them because they know nothing but money. I have heard a physician saying "Money is the second God." I got anguish from a burning example that happened before my eyes. The elder sister of my good friend Anita drank poison. She was taken to the Magura Sadar Hospital. We called on a doctor who was on duty. It was about 12:00 AM the physician was sound sleep. No physician came for more than an hour. At last she gave her last breath. This is the existing view of Magura Sadar Hospital.

Obstacles: I need money for the purpose of study. Money is merely working as a hindrance. If my father had money, I would never have begged you asking for money because I know well that it doesn't look good to ask money for one's self interest. So, I will be highly grateful if you provide money to build up my career. So I beg that you grant my request as far as possible.

Name: Monira Akhtar Mou

Gender: Female

Birth Date: December 3, 1998

Aspiration: I always long for the beautiful life of the naval officers. So, I would like to be a naval officer. I have an inquisitive mind and want to know the unknown and to see the unseen. Adventurous journeys attract me very much. Through the voyages in the beautiful vast seas in the world, I shall achieve much know knowledge about the culture, nature and the people of the world. So, I want to be a naval officer.

Obstacles: "Man proposes but God disposes." We are poor. My father's very poor. He is very often ill. For this he cannot work hard. So, our family income is not increasing. Today the people of Bangladesh are victimized by inflation. So, want is the common picture in our family. My study is going to be stopped. My father has told me to do extra manual work to manage my own educational expenditure. If you help me, my difficult life will be easy and comfortable and blessed as well.

Name: Monira Khatun

Gender: Female

Birth Date: August 20, 1997

Aspiration: I seriously want to be a teacher. I like teaching most. Teachers are the builders of the nations. I think the development of the whole nation and country depends on education which is undoubtedly served only by the teachers. So, teaching is a noble and great profession. For this reason, I have to be a teacher to serve my Bengali nation.

Obstacles: I am poor. My father cannot run our family. He cannot even meet our basic needs when I ask for money to buy reading and writing things. Though the government of our country provides money for education, it is not enough. So, I am always in need of the essential things of study. If you have any sympathy for me, I would be highly glad and blessed.

Name: Sagar Hossain

Birth Date: November 15, 1999

Aspiration: From my boyhood, I dreamt of serving in the Bangladesh Army. It is known to all the world that the Bangladesh Army is renowned because of their valor, discipline and skill. They fight against anarchy, crime and terrorism. Terrorist activities have been remarkably lessened only by them. I would be proud to become a member of them.

Obstacles: But poverty in our family is the main bar in the way of my study. Being poor, I cannot buy the necessary reading and writing materials. I cannot ask for money from my father, because I know well the poor financial condition of my father. He is physically ill. So, he cannot work hard to lessen the poverty prevailing in our family. In these circumstances if you assure me financial help, then I shall be encouraged to study well. So, please don't break my heart and dream of being the Army Officer.

But I am determined that my devotion to study, patience and hard labour one day will have reached me at my long cherished destination.

Obstacles: But I am a poor boy from a poor family. My poor financial condition is the only obstruction which hampers my study seriously. Though my father gives me small amount of money for study, it is not enough. I cannot go to the teachers and buy the standard books. So, it is your generosity which can make a poor boy into a physician.

Name: Hadiujjaman

Gender: Male

Birth Date: June 9, 2000

Aspiration: I have an aspiration that I shall be an efficient idealistic physician. Physicians of today know nothing but money. They don't care for the patients in the government hospitals or clinics. Once I went to the Magura Sadar Hospital to visit a physician for my own physical illness. The physician suggested to my father that we visit him in his chamber. We could not go in his chamber because my father didn’t have enough money. This is the common view of the medical service in Bangladesh.

Obstacles: My father is an uneducated poor man and that I am his poor son. It is out of my father’s capacity to bear educational expenses. But he always pays respect to wisdom and the wise men in the world. I take pleasure in study. So, your financial help can establish a poor boy like I.
